Who We Are:
Founded in 1998, Dance New Jersey seeks to expand participation in dance through public awareness initiatives, information services, networking and advocacy. Dance New Jersey collaborates with state and national partners to advocate for and represent the interests of New Jersey dance and dance education through its membership in ArtPRIDE/NJ and Dance/USA, and as the statewide affiliate for the National Dance Education Organization.

Purpose:
To raise public awareness by cultivating relationships with community and civic organizations, funders, policy makers and presenters.

To foster the artistic, administrative and educational growth of its members through resource sharing, dialogue and collaboration.

To advocate for high quality performance, creation and education in dance.

To develop a strong funding base for dance in New Jersey.
