For this upcoming professional development, we have two unique workshops aimed to provide you with new information or outlooks in running your studio/program. Here is a schedule of the day's events:
- 9:30am- 10:00am: Registration
- 10:00am-11:00am - Navigating the Administrative and Operational Aspects of a Dance Studio/Program with Kristine Smith, Co-founder/Artistic Director, Inspira Performing Arts and Cultural Center, LLC.
Analyze and discuss the inner workings of a studio/program navigating the many facets of running a studio /program. Gain and share insights in new approaches, outlooks, and methods on enhancing your administrative experience and operational know-hows.
- 11:00am-12:00pm - Emergency Preparedness Workshop with Ellen Korpar, Emergency Preparedness Consultant
As part of the Performing Arts Readiness project, Ellen Korpar will provide invaluable guidance on emergency preparedness. Ask yourself...do you have a plan in place if there was a natural disaster in your location or the performance location? Ask yourself...do you have precise exit strategies in your studio if an emergency were to suddenly occur? "If you're with a New Jersey performing arts organization and you want to make sure you're prepared for emergencies of all kinds, in all the ways you should be, I want to help you - for free." - Ellen Korpar.
