Carolyn Dorfman Dance returns to the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum.
Immerse yourself in the “worlds” that Dorfman creates. From her newest full company work, Traces, with its shifting sets, ever-evolving video images, and score by Svjetlana Bukvich (Dorfman “has a great gift for using dance to explore the human condition.” Robert Johnson, NJ Arts), to Echad (One), her signature work featuring eight dancers and a 120lb, 8ft diameter aluminum wheel, Dorfman takes audiences on amazing journeys (hailed as “ingenious… a gracious, formal structure … a fascinating metaphor,” Star Ledger). The program also includes a perennial favorite, guest choreographer Doug Elkins’ eclectic and witty Narcoleptic Lovers.
$35 General Public/$30 Seniors; Museum Members
